Use neutral category names
Labels should describe contents rather than who organized them.
Reduce decision steps
One incoming-paper basket is easier than five destinations at the door.
Define personal zones where useful
Individual shelves or bins can reduce conflict.
Treat repeated mistakes as design feedback
If everyone leaves an item in the same 'wrong' place, the storage location may be wrong.
Practical boundary. Measure first, respect product load limits, and do not improvise wall, ceiling or overhead installations when the structure or appropriate hardware is uncertain.
